Culture

Mt. Vernon is home to Baltimore's favorite theater, Center Stage, as well as the Walters Art Museum. Center Stage underwent a million-dollar renovation, but still boasts the same Baltimore charm producing both wide known and local plays. The Peabody and Enoch Pratt Libraries can also be found here. Visit the Poe Room in the Enoch Pratt for a small taste of the literary history that the city holds. You'll also be able to find symphony music at the Peabody or jazz at the Eubie Blake.
